TAU Associates

TAU Associates was formed in 2003 with the aim of providing a variety of services to local and international businesses.

We started out in the world of finance by offering bookkeeping and accountancy services to local companies.

In December 2004 we signed up for ebay using the name giftfinder247 with the aim of selling high quality gifts (watches, TY Beanies etc) whilst this was okay it was clear that it was never going to make us millionaires.

We have not given up on selling the watches, in fact we believe that we can make more money by selling them in our own online store (http://www.giftfinder247.co.uk) than by listing them on ebay.

 

In January of 2005 we launched our web hosting business (http://www.findmeweb.co.uk) and we complemented this with the launch of our web design business in July 2005 (http://www.findmewebdesign.co.uk).  We believe that our prices offer the best value webhosting for uk based servers and have a very reliable backbone ensuring maximum uptime.

 

Also in the summer of 2005 we launched http://www.5starmobile.co.uk - offering the very latest in mobile phone technology with some amazing cash back deals.

In March 2006 we launched a HelpWithSage which was a training guide on how to use Sage Instant Accounts. This was a very popular service and it was with great regret that we stopped selling the product, the reason for stopping the sale was due to the fact that Sage improved Sage Instant Accounts to make it easier for new users and we couldn’t justify selling our product.

In May 2005 TAU Associates Ltd came to the help of LTLF by providing hosting for the site and also a facility for the members to talk about all things nottingham forest with the launch of dedicated forest forum this has given LTLF the chance to grow considerbaly and in February 2009 the 2 sites had grown so much that we had to invest in a dedicated server. The forum is now officially part of the TAU group and to help cover the costs of the server we have introduced subscription to allow members to help cover the running costs and we have also introduced advertising on the forum
