Work from home? Go Virtual!

Mercury House
The biggest problem with working from home is that you have to give clients your home address, and if you need to meet clients you either have to go to them or find a neutral venue like a pub it’s not like you can invite them into your own home (you can but i certainly wouldn’t recommend it).
My solution to these problems was to sign up for a Virtual Office.
A Virtual Office allows you to work from home as normal but use another address as your business address, giving your business a more professional image and keeping your home address away from your clients.
Other benefits of using a Virtual Office include
- A different telephone number from your home number with call divert and voicemail service.
- Use of meeting rooms so clients can come to you.
- Your own mailbox
- Use of photocopier, fax and admin support
- Post & Parcel services
Other services maybe available.
The virtual office that i use is run by Nottinghamshire Business Venture and is located in New Basford, Nottingham (just around the corner from the Tram depot).
